Upgrading an existing bridge

Check for updates under System → Maintenance → Firmware update in the KMBridge web interface, or upload an update package. If a new version fails to start, it rolls back automatically.

First setup: open kmbridge.local →Getting-started guide →

Desktop app

Run ETS remotely from a Windows computer. Enter the access code (generated in the portal or on the bridge's Remote access page) and the desktop app creates a virtual KNX IP interface on your computer. Search for it in ETS or add it manually, then program the on-site devices directly.

Window version

A native window; enter the access code to connect.

  • Format: a zip archive. Unzip it and run the exe; there is no installer.
  • System: 64-bit Windows. The window version needs the WebView2 Runtime, which Windows 10 and 11 usually include.
  • Language: Chinese and English. A Chinese system gets Chinese and any other gets English; switch any time at the top right of the title bar.
  • Updates: the app checks for a new version when it opens and, if there is one, shows a banner at the top of the window that brings you back here. To update, close the running app, download the new zip and unzip it, replace the old exe with the one inside, and start it again.
